Weekendshere Sold for $250,000!!
Never in a million years did I ever think that this would happen. Weekendshere was my first ever blog and because of that it holds a special place in my heart. If you are a regular reader of this blog you know that In January of 2008 I started two other blogs, one personal and one about investing.
Things happen for a reason, on Friday of last week I was contacted by a person that lives here in Los Angeles, I will only say that he is an investor. After a few e-mails he asked to see all the web stats for Weekendshere, I agreed and e-mailed him all that info which he was going to review during the weekend. On Sunday night he e-mailed me and we decided to finally talk on the phone and it was then that he made me an offer to buy this blog. At first I laughed because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I thought he might want to invest because as you know I have always said that I want to do something with Weekendshere but after about half an hour I knew he wasn’t kidding because he made me an offer that I just couldn’t refuse.
Yesterday we meet and he handed me a check for the agreed amount, $250,000 thousand dollars. I then signed the paperwork and I officially handed over control of this blog. So this my friends is my last post here and even though I am sad you know you can catch me at Mydailymundo and Gainsnlosses anytime. I will see you bright an early as usual, have a wonderful April Fools’ Day.
