Hotter Than Hot
First of all, happy Labor Day everybody. I am off today and that is just fine with me, I really needed an extra day to unwind. The weekend was hot and I do mean hot!! close to 100 degrees and today is not exception, it is going to be about 95 degrees. The weekend went like this.
On Saturday I went on an errand for my friend to Staples to buy a digital cam. I went at around 10 AM and by that time it was already hot. So I just went in and got what I had to get and out the door and back home. Then in the afternoon I watched the game between the Houston Dynamo and the Kansas City Wizards. The game ended in a 1-1 tie. In another game that four time champion DC United beat the FC Dallas 4-0. That gives my team the best record in the League 13-6-3 and we are tied with New England for first place when it comes to points with 42, best in the league also.
On Sunday I didn’t do that much really, laid around all day and left most of what I usually do on Sunday for Monday, I guess I should have done it the other way around huh. Watched a game between The Columbus Crew and the Colorado Rapids, final score 1-1. I was watching the news and to my surprise there was a 4.7 earthquake at 10:29 AM around the Lake Elsinore area, that is about 49 miles from LA. I sure didn’t feel this one but my friend was telling me that she did feel it. Watched some TV, played some Shogun Total War and then hit the sack.
There is still one day left of the 3 day weekend and I will do my best to enjoy it and I hope you do the same.
