The weekend was so nice, I didn’t do that much. I went to bed late and I woke up even later because I was playing Call of Duty 4 for most of the weekend. I didn’t have to worry about doing any Christmas shopping because I finished last week. And to top it all off I am off for the next nine days and you know that I am not complaining about that in fact that is the way I like it because long weekends are my specialty. I did go to Bestbuy on Sunday but I didn’t find what I was looking for. I then went to the AT&T store and looked at the iPhone and the more I see it the more I want it. Something I must really get is an eye exam and new glasses but knowing me I know that is not going to happen any time soon. Is a man thing, we go see the doctor when we are close to dying or in my case when I can’t see anything. Wait a sec, if I can’t see then I can’t play COD 4 or blog for that matter, I am calling today. 

Play time is over for the time being and now I have to get back to work on my new blog. I still have not found a webhost and hopefully this week that will change. And lets not forget that there is always something to do at home so this week is going to be busy but relaxing. I mean, I can take a break any time I want. Time to get some work done………………….but before that I will take a break.   

The weekend is over and that means that it is time to go back to work again. I am working this week and then it’s time for that Christmas break that I have been waiting for. I get eleven days to rest and be lazy and I need it. The weekend went by real quick like they usually do most of the time. I did a lot of reading, a lot of playing COD 4 and a lot of sleeping. I also searched for name for my new blog and I found it, look for a post on that topic tomorrow. I am finished with 90% of my Christmas shopping and plan to get the other 10% done before the week is over. I already submitted my own Christmas wish list and it is a very short one, a Sonicare toothbrush and a black scarf that is all I want. But the most important thing in my list is for my family and friends to be healthy, successful and happy this coming year. A very uneventful weekend but as you know I am ready for the next one.

Here we are on a Monday and only 31 days away from 2008. For me this weekend was uneventful, I was up all night and slept all day. Yes I have to admit that I didn’t do that much except for play COD 4 and I finally made it all the way to the rank of 55 which is a 5 star General. I could go to “Prestige Mode” and start all over from the beginning but that is ok, I will stay with my current rank of 55 and keep playing that way.

Here is something funny that I am sure you remember if you are the oldest kid in your family. Do you remember when your younger siblings would get in trouble and your mom and dad would get on their case and you would just sit there and laugh?, I remember that and this past Sunday it happened to my nephew. He was sitting next to me and whatever he said got my sister all riled up but because I I was so into the game I missed what he said. She then came on over and gave him that look we all remember and I am telling you I when I saw that I was about to laugh. When my sister left to do something I started to laugh and told my nephew the reason why

I am excited about the Christmas break coming. Friday the 21st is the last day we work and then we go on an eleven day break and boy do I need it, working on the new blog and playing too much COD 4 I need as much time as I can get.

The four day weekend came and went and I enjoyed every minute of it as much as I could. Let me tell you about the long weekend.

On Thursday I went to the LA Autoshow and I have some pictures for you but you  will see those on Tuesday’s post.

On Friday I got up late, it was about 4 PM I think because I was up all night playing COD 4. I am telling you I just can’t get enough of that game, too much fun. Next thing I know it’s night and I am ready to play some more and ended up going to bed at around 6 AM.

On Saturday again I woke up late thinking it was Sunday for some strange reason; the day was almost a mirror image of the previous day except for a few things. I did a load of laundry and went through all my mail to see what needed to be shredded and left it ready to do first thing on Sunday. I then got ready for another full filling night of COD 4 and did not stop until I went to bed at about 6 AM again.

On Sunday again I got up late, 4 PM and I think you know the the reason why. I get up, I shred mail and then sit to watch some TV. There was nothing really interesting so I kept switching channels throughout the evening. I did another load of laundry and at 8 PM The Amazing Race started and as usual it was a good episode. I then surfed the net and at about 1 AM I finally got to play but only for an hour or so and then went to bed. Did a lot of sleeping and a lot of playing and nothing more this long weekend. 

Let me tell you about the weekend that was.

On Saturday I got home late and like any normal person I didn’t go to sleep, wait a second, is that really what a normal person does?. Anyway, as soon as I got home I got online to play Call Of Duty 4 and did not finish playing until about noon, yes noon. I then slept for about four hours and as a result when I woke up I was really tired. Watched some TV and checked my mail and went to bed at about 10:30 PM.

On Sunday I got up bright an early at 5 AM, checked my mail and then played COD 4 until about 8 AM, I just can’t seem to get enough of that game. Took a shower and got ready for the big game between the New England Revolution and the Houston Dynamo at 9 AM and as you all know I was going with New England. The first half was good and ended with a 1-0 lead in the Revolution’s favor but then in the second half everything fell apart and Houston ended up winning 2-1 becoming back to back champion. This MLS season was a total disappointment for me, my team didn’t make it to the finals and then the team I chose for the finals lost, what’s a guy to do?, wait for next season of course. I spent most of the afternoon either sad and lonely thinking about the game, surfing the net or playing COD 4 but by the time 8 PM came around I put the controller down and got ready for The Amazing Race, the episode was a lot of fun. When the show was over after a long day I was thinking about what to do next and in the end I decided to play some more, surprise surprise, after that I got online and surfed for a little and then went to bed tired and I have no one to blame but that guy in the mirror, I forgot that is me. The good thing about this week is that it’s only a three day work week and that means a four day weekend and you know how I like those, oh yeah!!.
