- Did you read about the giant diamond? It seems that a giant 84.37 carat diamond sold for $16.2 million dollars at auction by Sotheby. The diamond bought by Guess Jeans founder George Marciano will be named “Chloe” after his daughter. I almost got it but was short $16.2 million, yep.
- Did you read about Hanging Heart? A sculpture of stainless steel heart sold for a record $23.6 million dollars. At nearly 9 feet tall and weighing in at 3,500 hundred pounds the piece by artist Jeff Koons becomes the most expensive piece by a living artist ever auctioned.
- Did you read about October’s video game sales? It seems that video game hardware and software sales for the month of October hit $1.1 billion dollars, a 73% jump compared to $643 million a year earlier. That is a lot of money.
- Did you read about MLS Cup 2007? It seems that the defending champion Houston Dynamo will face the New England Revolution this Sunday at RFK stadium, this in a re-match of last years championship game. The Dynamo seeks their second straight while the Revolution looks for their first. The game will be televised by ABC and Telefutura at 12 Noon ET, check your local listings. Go Revs!!.
