Another Friday  is here and not a minute too soon if you ask me. This week flew by real quick and that means that the weekend is almost here. But before that be sure to enjoy In The News, the best place for news.

1. Did you read about lighting in Venus? It seem that earth’s sister planet has frequent lighting. For nearly three decades, astronomers have said Venus probably had lightning ever since a 1978 NASA probe showed signs of electrical activity in its atmosphere. But experts weren’t sure because of signal interference.
2. Did you read about the price of beer going up? It seems that Anheuser Busch will raise prices in order to counter the rise in the cost of ingredients. Bad news for my friends that is for sure.
3. Did you read about Santa’s naughty list? According to a poll of American children Britney Spears and Paris Hilton should top Santa’s naughty list among children aged 2-12. The online survey of 1,107 children was conducted by E-Poll Market Research. I happen to agree with the kiddies on this one.

The market is up the market is down, whatever happened  to up, up and up I will never know. This I do know, November is almost over. What does that have to do with investing?, absolutely nothing at all. Time to check and see if the numbers look good, bad or just plain ugly like they did in the last report. If the math does not add up please be sure to let me know, mistakes do happen.

The day is Wednesday and that brings us that much closer to the weekend. This month is almost over and next thing I know Christmas will be here. Now, last week’s video was “If You Ever Stop Loving Me” by Montgomery Gentry, this is one of my favorites songs and the video makes it that much better because it’s such a fun video to watch. And that brings us to today’s video that quickly became one of my favorites after I first saw it. Will you like it as much as I do?, don’t forget to let me know.

Yes, it is that time of the year when the autoshow comes to L.A. and I was lucky to be there, lucky because I didn’t think I was going to make it because of lack of sleep but in the end I did. This was last Thursday and since it was a holiday there wasn’t that much of a crowd. We got in at 9 AM and were out by noon, it was a lot of fun. I took some pictures to show you, this are not all of the pictures but I hope you like the ones I chose to show you. Having said that that lets check them out and for the record this were not taken by a professional photographer. Click on any picture to make them bigger.

The four day weekend came and went and I enjoyed every minute of it as much as I could. Let me tell you about the long weekend.

On Thursday I went to the LA Autoshow and I have some pictures for you but you  will see those on Tuesday’s post.

On Friday I got up late, it was about 4 PM I think because I was up all night playing COD 4. I am telling you I just can’t get enough of that game, too much fun. Next thing I know it’s night and I am ready to play some more and ended up going to bed at around 6 AM.

On Saturday again I woke up late thinking it was Sunday for some strange reason; the day was almost a mirror image of the previous day except for a few things. I did a load of laundry and went through all my mail to see what needed to be shredded and left it ready to do first thing on Sunday. I then got ready for another full filling night of COD 4 and did not stop until I went to bed at about 6 AM again.

On Sunday again I got up late, 4 PM and I think you know the the reason why. I get up, I shred mail and then sit to watch some TV. There was nothing really interesting so I kept switching channels throughout the evening. I did another load of laundry and at 8 PM The Amazing Race started and as usual it was a good episode. I then surfed the net and at about 1 AM I finally got to play but only for an hour or so and then went to bed. Did a lot of sleeping and a lot of playing and nothing more this long weekend.
