- Did you read about the news Boeing 787? Boeing unveiled its first new model in 13 years. The 787 Dreamliner uses high tech plastic composites in up to 50% of the primary structure of the plane making it lighter. With less weight the plane will use 20% less fuel. It will be capable of flying up to 9,700 hundred miles without refueling and with a seating capacity of between 210-310 places depending on the model.
