It is that time of the week again and that can only mean one thing. Another edition of In The News starts now.

1. Did you read about Harry Potter?. You will be seeing a lot more of Harry flying around, specially now that he will be on stamps for domestic mail in France starting this coming weekend. No that was not a plug for this site.
2. Did you read about the favorite buildings in The United States?. According to the American Institute of Architects’ national poll the favorite building in the U.S.is the Empire State Building. I agree with that.
3. Did you read about St. Patrick’s Day?. In case you didn’t  know, St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. It falls on Saturday the 17th this year which happens to be tomorrow. Be sure to check your local city events, wear green and please don’t pinch me, unless you are female then it’s fine. I’ll  drink to that :).

Imagine for a second you were told by a genie, choose the car of your choice, here’s 100,000 thousand dollars, and go on the road trip of your life. Wouldn’t that be great?. Unfortunately genies are not real so we have to settle for doing it the old fashioned way, working hard and planning ahead. A road trip for me would involve getting a car because I have no car and saving some money because I have none. What I do have is free time during the weekend, I just wish that could be tradable for some money or something but that is highly unlikely so I might as well keep on dreaming. Ok, now that we got that out of the way lets move on. I would have to rent a vehicle and for me the vehicle I would choose to the dismay of my brother and sister would be the Nissan Quest. You there?, good. Why you ask?. I think that the Quest is a nice looking van, its got the nicest panoramic sunroof plus you can fit quite a few hitchhikers in there. Then the questions becomes, where to go?. We’ll tackle that on the next post. And you, what would be your road trip ride of choice?, we want to know.

Being sick during work a week is one of the worst things that can happen to you. I have these symptoms, headache, coughing, sneezing, runny nose (love that one) and for some strange reason my voice has changed. I already took some medicine; could call in sick but I am not.  It is not like I am dying or anything. Today is such a nice day, 79 and sunny. It’s such a pity I am going to miss on that just because I am medicated but then again there is always tomorrow :).

Monday is here and so the begins the countdown. This weekend was pretty slow when it came to fun, and very busy when it came to work, (more on that in a later post).  But enough about me and lets talk about you. Did you have a good weekend?……………we want to know about it because that is the only way we can comment and maybe go, hmmm, that sounds like fun maybe I should do that. This blog is also about inspiring people to enjoy their weekends. Maybe you read a good book, tell us about it, you watched a good movie, recommend it, or you traveled, what was fun about it?.
