It had been a while since I’ve been off on a Friday but it happened today. Woke up to a fire in the Hollywood Hills, no doubt you saw it on the news. The fire burned about 150 acres and has since been contained. Two teens are in police custody after admitting to starting the fire. I am going to spend the rest of my evening just relaxing because we all know that the Weekendshere!!. See you Monday.

1. Did you read about the man that paid a $1 parking ticket after 26 years?. It seems that the offender sent the payment along with a $3 late fee. The money order return address read,  "someone who keeps way too many old papers way too long". At least he paid, right?.
2. Did you read about the boy who found a watch that was buried in the North Pole? The watch was buried at the North Pole 3 years ago along with a note by the descendant of a Norwegian Polar explorer. It floated ashore on the Faeroe Islands, more than 1800 miles away. I guess it’s true when they say that it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

It is the end of the workweek for me and the beginning of a 3 day weekend. If you are looking for the shakeup I said was going to happen today, you will have to wait until Monday. I thought that today was going to be the 1st, was I wrong on that one. So, hang in there, Monday will come around soon enough. Still thinking about what it could be?, you still have time to let me know.

In yesterdays post I said that the shakeup would take place, "this Thursday April the 1st", I was wrong, apologies. The correct date is this coming Monday, April the 2nd. I already updated my previous post with the right date. Do you know what is so good about this week?, it is a 4 day workweek meaning that we get a, drum roll please, 3 day weekend!!. I am looking forward to this coming 3 day weekend, rest will do me a lot of good.

Any ideas about the shakeup, what could it be?. You all have all this week to think about it and if you think you know what it could be go right ahead and post a comment. I am sure you will like it, allow me to give you a clue, it is about something very important that has to do not just with me but with all of us. Who knows, I may even have to get another blog altogether with a name that is more closely related to what I will be writing about. I am sure that many will ask after reading the first post, what does that have to do with the weekend?, and it will be a fair question to ask. Curious?, I know you are :). Stay tuned.

It’s Monday and if you are looking for the Weekend Recap you are not going to find it today. I did a lot of thinking during the weekend and came to the conclusion that I am ready to shake things up. How big of a shakeup?, you will have to wait and see. Will you stop talking about the weekend?, never. In the end it all boils down to one simple thing, how to make this blog the best it can be. I do need your help though. Before I do anything I want your opinion, tell me what works and what doesn’t; tell me what categories you like or dislike. Tell me what topics you have enjoyed and which ones you haven’t. Tell me if I am doing a good or bad job, because I think that I am doing a good job but you are the ultimate judge when it comes to that. So, as soon as you read this click on comments and let me know what you think, your opinion matters to me and it will help make this blog better. The shakeup will take place April the 2nd.
